After their narrow defeat (CWC Game 1) the Soviet horde has fallen back and dug in around the only bridge of the deep and fast flowing river Absoult! The weakened Soviet forces must now attempt to repulse the British battlegroups attack...

In the opening turns the British advanced towards the objective without any fire from the Soviets, however as the reached the river the Soviets opened up on the left flank and the advance began to slow down. The Soviet Hind cause havok on the turns it actually turned up!

A lone British challenger made an unsupported advance across the bridge but was eventually destroyed in close assault. The Brit Chinook loaded with paras, a milan team and a mmg team, deviated of course and landed bang in the centre of town, the support teams took refuge in the a nearby building, which also had the Soviet FAO on the roof! The Soviet commander order his attack helicopter to destroy the building, killing everyone inside it! Dashed unsporting!

Notice the absence of the brown building!

A british amphibiouse assualt accross the river, through some barded wire and into the Soviet trenchs proved to be some what foolish!

Eventually the British CO arrived with the main battle force and took the objective in turn 6, which was also the same turn that the passed a break test. However I had forgotten that I could win in turn 6 and kept playing until turn 8, where I promptly broke, at -3 breaktest, which would have been passed if I had not blundered and whipped out one of my units!

Since both sides had won a major victory we called it draw!
