Fuel Wars - Game 1 - Amphibious Assualt

A small fuel rich island nation has called for international help after the Russian Federation sent in a “peace-keeping” force to help “protect” their reserves. The United States has responded with a task force, US Marines today made a forced landing to secure a costal port.

The marines begin their landing but due to complications some forces do not make ashore. The Russians realise they are in the wrong place and start to move.

The long range fire of the US tanks proves tough for the Russians who being out of postion are still unable to deal with the armoured monsters!

Once the Russian forces clear the town they manage to halt the US tanks with massed fire but they can do little to stop the Bradleys full of infantry flanking them, one Apache is driven off but the other makes a heavy contribution.

Lightly srmoured US units suffer under the Russian artillery and their tanks are limited to a slow crawl forward but the Bradleys are still moving and the Russians are losing units fast.
