Both forces deploy for battle, but with only a limited amount of movement very little happens.
A command blunder sends the slow moving Churchills back to their start line as the Germans occupy the small town opposite them, British artillary devastates the Stugg battalion but the Germans repsond by shooting down the RAFs spitfire.
The Stuggs pull out of the town and head towards the other flank where combat has begun between the Cromwells of the Welsh Guards and the Pz.4s and Panthers of the Germans. British arty kills the German FAO!
An uneven battle continues between the Cromwells and the more powerfull German panzers, the British artillery is however continuing to keep the Welsh in it. The Churchills spread out to counter the the remaing howitzer stuggs and some German infantry, The other Stuggs try to move along the rear of the German lines.
The Crowells spread out onto the hill for extra vantage as their infantry dive into cover, casualties continue to mount, the howitzer stuggs are finished off by the Churchills.
The Churchills finally start to cross the river and the remaining Stuggs get underway again.
The Cromwells are in a lot of trouble as they are flanked by the remaining Stuggs, the Churhills force their way into the town.
The Welsh Guards Cromwells are finally finished off by the Germans as the Churchills start to take the town and engage some of the Stugg battalion across the river.
As the battle draws to a close, its a draw 18-18.
